Erik Lassche

Erik Lassche is Chief Executive Officer of Grand Union Portugal, a full service digital agency and part of the Fullsix Group. He started the Portuguese office in 2006.

He started his career as brand manager at Wall’s, Unilever’s ice-cream subsidiary in China, opening their first ice cream parlor in Beijing. Since failure is the key to success, he was very pleased to see that Unilever decided to close it after just 1 year due to miserable results.

After that he spent 4 years working for the Portuguese ice-cream division of Unilever in Lisbon. In 2005 he became a true adult by trading ice cream for beer, moving to Central de Cervejas (at the time a subsidiary of Scottish&Newcastle and currently owned by Heineken) where he was responsible for Sagres, Portugal’s biggest beer brand.

In 2006 he became the first employee of Grand Union Portugal, where he is working with clients such as Coca Cola, Heineken and Procter & Gamble.

He has an MBA in International Business & Marketing at the Rijskuniversiteit Groningen (Netherlands). He has been a jury in various publicity and communication festivals such as the EACA Euro Effies and El Ojo de Iberoamerica.
